    We accept rules because we think they’re meant to protect us, but do they?

    Rules restrict and command conformance, not performance.

    Innovation is the catalyst of change.

    The only time we don’t have options, is when we choose not to exercise them.

    However bad rules are meant to be broken or changed. It is our option, if not our responsibility, to do so.

    No authority is absolute, least of all authority that is entirely imagined.

    The best slaves, are those who will not see.

    “A dead person can’t corrupt someone.” – Alan Gura. however their money certainly can.

    Children have minds of their own, it’s sad how some choose to fill them is nonsense.
    a typo strikes, that should have read “with nonsense”…

    Inspiration, everywhere, every drop made better when we share.

    Kindness is the salve, cruelty the blade.

    Words, such imperfect little things, striving, sharing, denying, rendering smiles, and crying. {everything we say, can be said better}

    Inspiration, everywhere, every drop made better when from its cup we sip, and share. {see what I mean? http://twitter.com/CGAyling/status/365839990325903360 … }

    Sometimes silence is my favorite sound.

    If money is your primary goal you, it seems, have sold your soul, do you wonder what the price will be to gain back what you sold, for free.

    Troubling: that in a world of people it there are entirely too many automatons.

    A post I wrote over ten weeks ago, and couldn’t bring myself to blog. Don’t expect to enjoy it, but please read it. http://bit.ly/CGAbSff

    Names, formed from nature’s words, now unintelligible, to men.

    “Daniskira? A beautiful name, worthy of Dragon. It rolls… like thunder in a distant storm.” http://bit.ly/CGAmb1s

    Mine: Metaphor mingled with lyrical lines, what you get isn’t what you first think you see.

    Each of our stories is interesting, however we find those of others more so.

    Another #FF day rolls around – my personal favorites are found in two very long lists. The 1st is called “Following”, the 2nd, “Followers”.

    Favorite quote for #FF day, “One of them is both the same.” Followers, and Following, that is…

    The magnificent words of those long dead, will be repeated by those yet unborn.

    The future grants immortality to the past.

    So joyful to see, how the words of my friends are so much better than the words, of me.

    When we realize that all we truly have is time, every second becomes more precious.

    kindness comes in many forms, the shape of you, is one.

    Were I to be acclaimed for anything, it would be for thought, would I be thought of as anything, all would be for naught.

    Assuming faces others might like, others assuming our faces, are real.

    Tit for Tat, wish the world would stop playing that.

    Art bows to no one, it neither obeys nor acknowledges restrictive rules. {grammar doesn’t restrict, it refines}

    Why are authors so unwilling to embrace writing as art?

    If it doesn’t grab you by the heart, then how can it be art.

    Little bits of useless knowledge, are not useless at all. “&” the 27th letter of the alphabet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ampersand

    Those that stand alone, they’re often the ones that fall. {and per se and – & – a symbol illustrating this}

    The thing about playing games with numbers is that numbers don’t play back.

    It’s always been fascinating to me that the thing people talk about most, are the things other people supposedly said.

    Before we change ourselves to reach a goal, ask this, “Is our soul something we’re willing to shift?”

    Those who wear a face of stone, in mistaken belief it’s brave, they are the ones we most need to save.

    While beauty dwells in the beholder’s eye, ugly dwells in the mind.

    Words hold so much more than their symbols and their sounds, look deep within, for therein wisdom might abound. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0054RFWU2

    When you’re up, you’re up, but when you’re down… well, no one wants you around.

    Art asks the question to which its beholders must provide the answers.

    Understanding isn’t imposition. We see, we feel, we respond, we empathize, we understand. Incomprehensible art isn’t art at all.

    Downer: I just refused an offer to publish “Blind Sight”, my current WIP http://bit.ly/CGAsBS Some things don’t come to those who wait.

    Though memories seem so real, sometimes they’re just plain wrong.

    Blood and Love, cherished bonds that bind.

    When the “medicine” is more deadly than the disease… that.

    Truth bares itself within the light, while lies lie hidden by the shade.

    Perhaps the most satisfying food, is food for thought.

    When everywhere about is dark, light holds great appeal – I’m looking at the world, and finding very little illumination.

    Truth, from the mouth of our three year old granddaughter, Eden. “Bye, I will miss you and you will be so happy to see me again.”

    The words that ease, are the words that please, while those that tease bring pleasure and unease.

    “I ask of that which troubles your spirit.” http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0054RFWU2

    There is no truth so true it is exempt from scrutiny, by you.

    Beliefs that bind more than they set free, are better deemed as lies.

    To that duty must we tend, for should one save we attempt the deed, we might not bend, but break.

    For the vast majority of us what life has become, is not living but barely existing.

    When those you love depart, in your memory they’ll dwell, never saying goodbye, a memory, of pure hell.

    “…summoned their strange and exotic souls to appear before us…” – from my favorite review of Malmaxa. http://bit.ly/CGAxAM

    We live in a short term world where profit outweighs principle, and money overrules morality – what we need, is change.

    How would you feel if you learnt everything you thought meant anything proved itself a lie? http://bit.ly/CGAmb1s

    When we talk too much, and say to little. That.

    Those who will not question will not learn.

    Are the worst lies those we tell ourselves?

    Is a lie less a lie if it is not believed?

    Is a lie’s depth determined by how shallow it is?

    If the color ascribed to wrong is black, and the color to right, is white, what is the color of maybe?

    There is something comforting in the familiar, and frightening in change – people know it’s wrong, but continue doing it anyway.

    Everyone’s desire is to be unique, yet still they remain the same. {You’re unique, grow a pair – boobs or balls – and show us who you are.}

    What I thought I meant isn’t what you think I said – why is communication so difficult?

    I get it, we all want to be safe – but why does that mean we all have to be the same?

    There is a being to whom you must remain true, you.

    Why was I born, why will I die, every thinking person needs to know why.

    Why: a crooked letter each of us strives to make straight.

    Not the same, and not what it seems. At risk of being discovered, have you read Malmaxa? http://bit.ly/CGAmb1s

    Who lifts you up, when your down days come, your friends, every single one. #FF

    Born into pain, we live a life, then when we die, will we live again?

    Sometimes the things we so silently think, should stay unsaid.

    While thoughts may go unsung, deeds can never be undone.

    While thoughts may refine it’s deeds that define.

    perhaps my biggest failing is that I refuse to stay silent, yet I consider it my most valuable attribute.

    When we cannot laugh at that which is wrong, should we choose to cry instead?

    I don’t partake of any “recreational” drugs, but frankly I’m sick of Marijuana being the whipping boy of big tobacco.

    Marijuana has real, measurable benefits while all tobacco offers is… well, cancer.

    Inaction is evils most ardent ally.

    When good people stand idle the wicked gain ground.

    Sadly, “wicked” has lost some of its meaning – I think wicked thoughts, yet feel no shame.

    When the gender of our flesh does not match the gender of our soul – there is no tragedy is this.

    you are human as am I as are we, and friends, I hope we’ll always be.

    Love: when you have it, you’ll know it, just hope you don’t blow it.

    Conflicts come in twos, the view of each is always that the other side is wrong.

    Though victory assumes the mantle of right, in truth all it proves, is might.

    Women openly may weep, gaining comfort from their tears, while men a stony face must wear, lest others sense their fears.

    Though truth may be tragic, there is no need for it to be cruel.

    Age’s value is in the memories it grants, not in the flesh it renders weak. @nycedaze_ {my next tweet is for you}

    The most attractive thing about any women is an agile and mature mind.

    Got words to say, then say ’em, got places to go, then go, got things to do, then do, but remember, all that that you do, will stay done.
