Cast my ashes toward the sky, that once more upon the wind my freed soul might fly.

that a kind word taints the eye and from it does a thankful tear fly.

Write what lies within your heart, don’t pick the little part which you feel sets you apart.

I’m struggling to understand how the world got so bad, so fast. Pretty sure is it rampant, unregulated capitalism.

Capitalism leads consumers on its leash, and treats them, one and all, as thrall.

truth in advertising… a forgotten principle that used to mean “the truth”, now twisted till it means “not an obvious lie”.

Memories, to last the length of life.

How well we learn to hide, the darker truths, behind the golden lies.

A lie never becomes the truth, but a truth can be twisted until it seems to be a lie.

Winds will blow, you need not stay, your spirit is free, to ride the breeze, and come back to me.

We’re told that what is meant to be will be, yet our soul this ancient lie does see, and from compliance trap we turn, and to freedom flee.

Ever noticed how when you’re unhappy you resist smiling, yet as soon as you do, you feel better?

You can exchange cash for comfort, and possibly for passion, but never for love.

The purpose of life is procreation, however to find meaning in life takes love.

My eldest just suggested an excellent title for my next book, “Taking Charge of your Futility.”

To love and lose is pain, yet love itself, is always gain.

The loss of love is always painful, but through love we grow and thus we gain.

We are told many things that serve society, yet in no way do they serve humanity.

Wisdom lies within, though perhaps it is to be found without.

The only judge of art should be the proclamation of your heart. http://bit.ly/CGApIIA

Whether you think you can, or think you can’t matters not as much as that you try.

Today my wife told me that unless I start being more positive, she won’t come and sit next to me. Lesson not learnt, cause she came anyway.

Is what we might do to escape pain where corruption takes root?

An image of Bacon. She is our dog, or more correctly, we are her humans. Is love unconditional? Maybe. http://bit.ly/CGApUnL

Excellence requires effort, art requires artistry, compassion requires caring, and life, it requires love.

What image might you see reflected in the Mirror of Your Soul? http://bit.ly/CGAsMoS

What a tricky path we tread when by our unwilling nose we are led, will we chafe as the bit draws tight and think that what we do, is right?

Forget the nonsense society tries to compel, ignore the garbage society tries to sell, a life without love, that… that, is the true Hell.

The words we regret as soon as we say… they will hurt for but a day, the words we regret we never said, they will hurt… until we’re dead.

    Say it, or replay it.

Write stuff that actually matters, instead of merely titillates.

Societal and cultural influences are responsible for far more than just personality flaws. Both are suppression systems.

Is the ideal marriage a union or a dictatorship?

Since love is not rational why do we try so hard to rationalize it?

If happiness is a place can we go back?

Who are we, to dare try and teach the blind to see.

Is a life without love worth leading?

Duty starts as childhood ends, it begins with our children, and when they grow, duty cycles, and we return duty to our parents, twofold.

Perhaps the worst thing anyone can steal, is their children’s childhood.

Love is glory, love is pain.

It is all too easy to bleach our teeth, sadly we can’t say the same for our soul.

Love is like the Soul, though most of us know it’s real, we don’t really know precisely what it is.

Love is not so much about control as it is about giving up control.

It seems so easy to lie to ourselves, yet when we truly examine our heart we find its truths can’t be denied.

It is sad that in our world today, Special Interest invariably trumps Special Needs.

When cash is more important than compassion. #that

My 4yr old granddaughter Eden was thrown out of dance class for “Being rowdy”. I guess compelling compliance starts earlier than I thought.

Love is such a powerful, fragile thing, so difficult to crush, yet so easy to crack.

Death: Such a natural thing, yet such a painful one as well.

The most precious words are the ones we freely give away, and once given, we never want them back.

Between the lines, there lies the truth and there also, lie the lies.

Within your happy words, I see your tears, and within the sad, perceive your joy.

Love is desperate, Love is true, Love is more about Them, than it is about you.

An imagination isn’t wonderful when one is stressed. It seems all the paths down which it leads are dark, dire, and filled with danger.

Though an injury is unintended, it hurts just as much as if it was.

Are broken hearts worse than broken bones? Last night my son won a wrestling match on points. After breaking his thumb in the first round.

When we are too busy to take moments and turn them into understanding. #that

Julia Is the best youngest child ever.

Philosophy is not exclusively for the wealthy, it is the domain, of every thinking human brain.

Instead of asking, “Who are you?” or, “What do you do?” ask, “What motivates you, to be you?”

Today I asked my wife if she had any idea how special she is, she said she did, but I don’t think she really does.

A successful life is measured in units of love, not in accumulations of cash.

My friend, we should not test those who love us.

    The thing about tests, is that eventually everyone must fail or the test is not a test. {If you want love to fail, test it.}

Promises extracted under duress are not worth the stress on which they are written.

As we age we realize that happiness is relative, when we’re unhappy our relatives are the ones who suffer.

    If we can’t see deeper than the words, what hope have we of ever understanding? {Even of our own heart.}

    Counting sounds, instead of sentiments.

Everywhere I look, is you, every breath is too.

Love is not a door, you can’t close and open it at will, it isn’t a bridge to burn, or one you only cross, for gain.

A kind word costs nothing, but a cruel one… you’ll pay for it forever.

How is it we remember joy more readily than pain, yet when we’re in pain we exclude all joy?

Angels fade before your light, in the shadows, jealous devils scheme, and you remain a dream, insubstantial, transparent, and serene…

Why are we so easily mislead, why are our hearts so empty, and our minds so filled with dread. Happiness lives in love, not things.

If you don’t write from your heart, what will set you apart? Then again, why would anyone want to be apart, unless it is of a whole.

As a collective humanity seem to be a vile, voracious monstrosity, yet as individuals they are wonderful, how? I’ll blog my thoughts soon.

“The duty of a patriot is to protect his country from its government.” – Thomas Paine. Too many of us have forgotten. http://bit.ly/CGAppat

Greed is what makes humans evil, and humanity is led by humans.

Human: When enough is never enough.

Greed: No matter how you rearrange its letters you can’t form “EVIL”, yet greed is the essence of evil.

Messages read words undone and never said.

If you are light, then let me be darkness, if you are joy, then let me take your pain.

Whispered words, we share. a poem. http://bit.ly/CGApKSV

Measuring wealth by the count of your cash.

What cost a word, when its payment is a kiss?

Know me by my words, here they are my deeds. I am from the same place as any & all, my mother’s womb. Africa holds my soul.

Kisses, and words only share, if you really care.

There is nothing wrong with jealousy, only with its expression. It’s natural to be protective of those we love.

Like love, there are degrees of jealousy, a fire doesn’t set to flame at 0 degrees.

Jealousy is not about trust, insecurity, or confidence, it is about feeling. Exhibiting that feeling? Now that’s about insecurity.

The media teaches us to doubt ourselves and our worth, it teaches us that things make us better. Things don’t.

Love’s formula. A twinkled eye, an unspoken sigh, a gentle touch that says, you must. Love, is simple chemistry, made unclear.

The best thing about falling, is the hand that helps you up.

In social media, our words are our deeds. In life, our words should be precursors to our deeds.

Why is it such fun to splash through shallow puddles, yet no fun at all to splash through shallow souls.

Within the smallest things lie the greatest joys.

Learning anew, the meaning of yearning.

The women of the entire world, deserve the same freedoms as the men.

What is Justice, but another man’s view of truth, imposed.

All women are beautiful, their race, religion, and political persuasion matter nothing, only their heart.
