He who laughs last, often laughs alone…

The very best questions to ponder, are those for which there are no answers.

A fallen angel’s eyes of anguish, and their plea, cast not mortal eyes on me.

Language, such a wonderful thing, as many chances to understand, as to misunderstand, and each grants further chance to touch the other…

    Resolve, to be yourself. #goodnight

    Resolve, to be yourself. #goodnight

Is arguing about the spelling of imaginary words normal? I say “Terbonqulator” my family insist it’s “Turbonkulater”.

Never be sorry for being you, ’cause that you is the one I love, not that other you, you aren’t.

It never fails to disappoint me how people would rather close their eyes and imagine they are free, than open them and see they are not.

Life is like a book, our memories are words on pages past, our future we’re forming on pages we have yet to write.

Cherish the questions of your children, for through them they reveal their hearts.

In some ways the world is wonderful, and almost without bounds, yet in others it is cruel and uncaring. Would we could make the latter gone.

I don’t have the answers, or the absolutes, I have questions, and exceptions, too few answers.

Ever wonder, about the Wonders of Nature? I do. http://bit.ly/CGApWoN

From the words flooded with tears of sorrow, to those bathed in tears of joy, and all the words in-between the lines, unwritten, but seen.

Though darkness surrounds us, it can’t turn off the light in our soul.

If truth is invariable, here are two I know, 0 and 1, they’re the same in any base, time, or place. So why are we so fascinated, with 2?

Reflections, of souls unseen, guilty memories, so keen, bonds bent, but unbroken, vows made, though unspoken, why, is the good, the bad.

What point winning, if the one you love loses?

Where the mind wanders, there is enlightenment to be found.

Perhaps the point of an argument is to show that there are always at least two points of view.

Fear, not a good foundation, for anything.

The needs of none outweigh the needs of any other.

what weight a soul, what scale is balanced, what life is less, what eternity, is true

The fear of rejection should never deny us hope, let actual rejection do that cruel task.

Fate can be cruel, but it can be as kind.

Teaching is a vocation, not a profession. I guess it is too bad the decision has been made to leave it to professionals.

Perhaps love is the fundamental nature of the universe, or perhaps it is conflict.

We are on the same page then… that is good, yet life is as a book, and pages must turn for the tale to move ahead.

Within loves lie conflict. Within love lies conflict. Conflict is everywhere, let us make love seem so, as well.

a sign of true friendship is that time may pass, yet nothing changes, and when together again, all is, the same.

May our todays be better than the ruins of our yesterdays.

Always should never be an almost.

Today I looked at my youngest and asked her, “When did my little girl turn into such a shapely young lady?” Julia smiled, “Last night.”

“Taking from the rich to give to the poor”, it has never been about that, and always about how to stop the rich stealing from the poor.

Treasure your family, they really are the most precious things we all have. Though things, they are not.

a full breath held, a sigh, in release, she is gone, yet she is here, trapped forever, in my tear.

Though we can’t make time, we should make it for our friends.

only a soul’s light shines bright enough to illuminate the mundane and let us see there is no mundane, ‘tween thee, and me

Is not every thought a seed, some of grass, some of tree, some for food, and some, to climb.

Though cruel life compels us to leave our childhood behind, let us not lose its memories.

In all ways, and on all days, may each and every one find joy.

On this day, and every other too, we should take time to consider the fundamentals of life. Namely Family. Cherish people, not things.

The footrace of love is one that should never be won, for were one to win it would be at loss of the one who’d be left behind.

If you look hard enough, you’ll invariably find.

If you seek a lie, you’ll find it, and maybe more readily than the truth.

If love is a cage, then only gilded butterflies reside within. Sadly, those gilded butterflies could never take flight.

Jealous? Of a hot flush that stains the skin, and makes the heart beat wild, though not from sin. Jealous? Why?

War is more filth than glory, perhaps if more of those who think it is glorious visited it, the world would see it less often.

As I age I find I’m more interested in lasting love, than I am in fleeting wealth.

Isn’t it interesting how sometimes the words the world was never meant to see are those that leave the deepest impressions?

Love is something we should squander, rather than deny.

Every life is precious, every soul, divine.

Thoughts, poorly cast into words… or perhaps thoughts, that simply cannot be captured in word.

slim chanced fate is better than no chance of fate at all

If freedom of speech comes at a cost, then how is it free?

The inescapable problem with organized religion is this, The priesthood is ordained by men, not by the divine.

When does random chance become fate? When we so very badly want to make it so, or when it really, already was…

Though the world turns a blind eye and a deaf ear, the universe hears and sees all… I hope.

Though it is too seldom found, Truth is worth seeking.

I once said that the truth is never ugly, it is the deeds that it reveals which are.

    The Fortress of a Father's Arms. https://cgayling.com/malmaxa/2013/12/the-fortress-of-a-fathers-arms/ …

    Contradiction: the start of discourse.

Originality is like true art, our first encounter startles, our second enlightens, our third from the same artist… then we recognize it.

My soul yearns for you, and you are here. My heart is drawn to you, and you are here. My mind flies to you, and you meet it in an embrace.

Without heart, nothing else really matters.

Though no one owns a word, sometimes words honor their utterer with their order.

That you brother loves you only lets him see you as you really are. He sees past the ill image you have of yourself.

The demons within, are far more terrible than the demons without.

Search your own soul, for your own souls sake, not for the sake of others…

When the price of pleasure, is set in units of pain, should we not disdain…

Everything in its season, a season for everything, how about a season for change…

With the patience only it can know, Eternity awaits us one, and all.

Always contradictions, always, for without contraction how will we ever see, that there are other sides, than we.

Why so people seem to disapprove of Public Displays of Happiness?

I wonder if I’ll dream tonight, in a way I hope I do, in another not.

Soul, the body’s piece, of divinity.

The greatest gift anyone can grant, or receive, is time.

When we are reduced to counting the minutes, with dread.

How could I love my son the same as I love my daughters, how could I love four unique individual souls… the same?

This doesn’t mean I love any of them less, yet it does mean I love each of them more.

imagine a kiss that never ends, and when it does, a hug, and when that’s done, making love forever, then starting all over again… eternity

Infinity is its own square root, and it’s own power too.

Indeed, as is love, infinity is boundless.

I am more into understanding, than I am into proving.

My son described the the educational system of today rather succinctly, “They teach to memorize, not to understand..

Infinity is a number without end, something that has no end, also has no beginning, and is constant anywhere it is.

If a leading zero does not follow a point then it serves no point.

    Where yes grants, no denies.

I am quite proud of “the boy”, also of all my girls.

Were this another life, yet we were still we, would we have a single chance, at we?

If you would, then treat yourself with a less harsh hand. The way you see yourself, is not the way your friends see you.

Why bother… the song of dying democracy.

In whose hands does forgiveness lie? Not the grasping hands of the proxy of divinity, for divinity needs no proxy, and thus, has none.

We are hedonists, one and all, some of the flesh, some of the soul, even the heart its love, doth wish to impart, and of another, imbibe.

If only mirrors reflected our souls, instead of our skin.

    Evil is learned, not inherited.

To judge another for their sin, proves more difficult when we find the same, ourselves within.

The deeper into our dreams we search, the deeper the meaning we uncover, but is this meaning really real, or merely what we really want?

I often dream in black and white, I seldom dream in true, but the only thing that you should know, I would that all my dreams, be you.

To define success as the money one makes, yet know camels pass through a needle’s eye easier than rich men gain entry to heaven.
