There is an expression which states, “The devil is in the detail.<\/em><\/strong>”\u00a0 In any country chronically obsessed with the letter of the law<\/a>, this expression is extraordinarily true.\u00a0 Indeed, perhaps the expression should be updated to reflect current times.\u00a0 Maybe to something along the lines of, “The Devil dwells in legalese.<\/em><\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Mistruth undeniably finds a much easier abode in complexity than it does in simplicity.\u00a0 However, the deliberate framing of complicated duplicity into law is not the focus of this post.\u00a0 My focus today is the importance of our perception of the tiniest details.<\/p>\n

How important are these little details?\u00a0 In the past I’ve written on how a butterfly’s breath changes the world<\/a>.\u00a0 To me, and I believe to every living creature, details are that important.<\/p>\n

I am constantly delighted to find evidence things other than devils dwells in the the tiniest details.\u00a0 Sadly these miniscule elements often go unnoticed.\u00a0 Below are two photographs I took using my cellular device {I refuse to call it a smartphone as it completely lacks any intelligence.}\u00a0 I must stress that these photographs are completely unedited.\u00a0 They exist precisely as taken, at my device’s full resolution.<\/p>\n

Since they are images of things I find mysteriously and inexplicably beautiful, namely flowers, it strikes me as fitting they should contain undeniable evidence of love.\u00a0 After all, aren’t beauty and love cohorts in the same emotional domain?<\/p>\n

Examine them and see what you find.\u00a0 But be warned, you may need to hone your eyes…<\/p>\n

\nEven their blemishes are symbols of beauty.
\nNo, those speckles are not photographic artifacts.<\/p>\n
