  • Election 2012, part B {Medicaid}.

Obama, the man who cried wolf, and cried wolf again, now sits, bewildered by our rage. #election2012

Romney, a robber baron, radical in view, quick with a caring smile, hiding harsh words behind his hands. #election2012

Spin Doctor: a smarter voice for the dimwit whose mistakes are being covered with clever words. #election2012

If you haven’t yet voted, and you don’t, thank none save yourself for future failure.

With Obama we’re looking at a long, rough ride – to escape the pit Bush dug. #election2012

With Romney, still more middle class capital will transition to the ultra-wealthy – they don’t have it all, yet. #election2012

My VERY reluctant choice? Obama – better four more years with him than four minutes with Romney “trickling down” on us all. #election2012

Make no mistake, I didn’t vote for Obama – I voted against Romney. #election2012

    Let the hemorrhaging begin! #election2012

Here, is the final chapter, in this sorry tale.

  • Election 2012, pre-concluded.

Think how you’ll feel when you find out your candidate of choice lost, thanks to your not voting. #election2012

Anyone think George W. Bush served us well? {nervous silence} Yet we’ll risk a rinse and repeat, with more radical Romney? #election2012

Logic’s Twisting Trail: all life is divinely granted, so no abortion for rape, so rape is divinely ordained. Wait! What? #election2012

No matter how firm your beliefs, compelling others to your view is wrong. #election2012

Want more of the same Bush based disasters, as the past? Then vote for Romney, more radical, in every way. #election2012

Hiding behind a “blind trust”, is a shabby shield for questionable choices. #election2012

Think Romney is right for you? Do you deserve to be trickled down on for four years? Perhaps, but what of us? #election

“Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.” Don’t doom us, by repeating a more radical Bush – namely, Romney. #election2012

Politics is the language of crooks and con-men, yet the sound of quiescent silence is far worse. #election2012

How can anyone believe a robber baron, proven to profit from pillaging those poorer, will be on their side? #election2012

Before allowing your religious bias to sway your vote, re-consider Egypt – they recently chose that path. #election2012

    Onward! The Home Stretch approaches.

  • My views, on Election 2012.

My views are my truths, phrased as I see them.  I need to express them, I consider the stakes in this election simply too high to sit by.  The thought of what will befall the people of the USA, should the wrong man win – well, it distresses me gravely.

For my more usual Twitter fare, go here.

OK, I’ll begin by being upfront – I’m an Independent, and consider myself a Liberal Conservative. What I think that means, is elsewhere.

Forgive me my political views, for my intent is to trespass against many, yet if I make but one think… I shall be content.

I’m sick of fractured, divisive politics – I want a centrist candidate who’ll SERVE us all, not their own special interests. #election2012

Please, share YOUR views, not the regurgitated political spew fostered by the mass media. #election2012

Robber Baron: a wealthy, unscrupulous person who profits by pillaging from those with less resources. #election2012

To Cry Wolf: yell the end is nigh! unless you vote for a massive new spending program, no time to think do it right now! #election2012

To Relinquish Responsibility: vote strictly along party lines, let the lunatic fringe dictate how you should think. #election2012

Want a radical republican in office? I don’t. No more than I want a radical democrat. Give me a Centrist – please. #election2012

Despot: one who’ll inflict their delusional beliefs on the citizenry, completely certain “it’s for their own good”. #election2012

While jealousy might be the precedent of love, all to often, Jealousy is love’s terminus, too.

The evil that men do is not for love, it is for that base motivator of men, it is for greed.

Duality is a simplistic limiter. Why? Because truth is not absolute, it is a constantly changing variable.

Truth requires perception, perception requires a point, points require a place, places grant a view, views vary with place. Where is truth?

True friendship always is, it is never was.

If we must follow anything, truth is as good a thing as any. It might lead us to thoughts we’ve never dreamed.

Proof of soul? What animates flesh and makes it live? Certainly not science.

Once you’ve seen a soul depart… you know they’re real, yet you never wish to see another forced to bid its flesh, farewell.

Humanity has forgotten things it never knew it knew, and now it questions whether those things ever had value, or substance. Soul, is such.

Everything that really matters is indefinable, and immeasurable, until we have lost it. I never want to measure you. Ever.

When we die, the only place we still live is in the hearts of those who love us. Love, not loved…

What is death? I cannot tell. Is it Heaven, or is it Hell? Is it Fear, or the final safe place, within which our loved ones hold us Dear.

If all your questions have answers, then you are clearly asking all the wrong questions.

Our tomorrows become our yesterdays, would that our yesterdays could become our tomorrows for our yesterdays seem far better than our todays

The last person we should pretend to be is ourself, then again, we shouldn’t pretend to be anyone else either.

Knowledge is not intelligence, intelligence is not wisdom, and wisdom is less knowledge and intelligence than it is understanding.

Before you mistake wealth for success, realize that as you gain more, for all others, there is less.

Souls scream, souls sigh, souls cry, but soul sounds don’t matter, cause souls never die.

To me, one of the most troubling things is how many wonderful people so doubt themselves.

We are all unique, we all have doubts, but one doubt we should never have, is doubt of self.

Who we are today, is the basis of the person we are building for tomorrow.

Is not doubting yourself thinking you’re great? No, it is not doubting or trying to be anything other than who you are. Unique.

Eating flesh, for food, okay, but stealing skins, for vanity, not okay.

People do not claim fame, fame claims them, and from all I see, fame is a terrible taskmaster.

The words we say but do not mean, the things we think but dare not say, the truth we see yet do not glean.

Is not the best touch, the touch of a friend’s eye, is not the best sound the sound of a friend’s joy.

Is not the best feeling, the touch of two hearts, sharing healing?

    Imposing morality is immoral.

If people lack the courage to speak freely, there is no freedom in their speech.

Love makes us want to hear as much as it makes us want to tell, it wrings our heart, like a crystal bell, to love, silence is a living hell.

I have been to places I have never been, yet I know the place, and that there, I’ve been.

We all take sides, but for some of us our moral standards force some of us to take both.

Pictures tell a thousand words, but sometimes words do too.

The most ancient languages are not of words, they are of looks, a crinkled eye, a curve of lip, a bow of head, a tongue-tip, seen.

Human Nature at it most base: responding to bigots before you respond to your friends.

    Though I understand I’m a slave, I don’t understand who owns me.

Mistaking knowledge for wisdom, is like thinking understanding is acceptance.

Our heart is possibly the only thing that grows each time we give another piece of it away.

My son just received a detention for describing the 2012 economy as, “Shitty.” Apparently, “Crappy” was an acceptable response.
