A cruel word is remembered forever, a kind one for only a day, be kind anyway.

We can buy laughter, but we can’t buy joy, we can buy release, but we can’t buy love, we can own objects, but we can never possess people.

The only things that will ever love us aren’t things at all, they are living beings.

A kind word goes a long way, would that we gain and give them, every day.

Kindness improves our days in oh so many ways.

Is the essence of jealousy the fear that another offers something we cannot?

Ultimatums are the tools of tyrants.

It strikes me as a terrible societal failing that so many victims are led to believe they bear the guilt for the atrocities of others.

Do not judge the victim, judge the abuser.

The most difficult thing to rebuild is not a bridge, it is the trust the bridge represented.
