I think most people have forgotten how to be honest.
Sharing thoughts demands that we share the thoughts we actually have, not the thoughts we think will cause others to think more of us.
I think a lot of it has to do with people curating their image both off and online.
There have been many examples of people getting into trouble for things they’ve said. Some folks have lost their jobs when online rants go viral, etc.
So now people seem to be editing themselves.
