The Wind and the Tree.

a poem, by my gem, Julia.

The Wind and the Tree.

of all things that could ever be
the best, are the Wind
and the Tree.
The Wind
tears a song of sorrow
through your soul,
and all that could be.
The Tree
bears the gift of life
within its leaves.
~
Of all that could be
the best, to me,
are the Wind,
and the Tree.
The Wind
Holds the sing-song words
of the birds
for all to hear.
The Tree
holds a blossom gingerly
with outstretched hand
for all to see.
~
Of all the things that could ever be
the ones I love most passionately
will forever be
the Wind,
and the Tree.

About Julia.  She is our youngest child, and my favorite… youngest daughter. Though Julia turns fourteen in ten days from today, she has a soul any would treasure, and a caring heart to which we should all aspire.

Julia is the protagonist of “A Crystal Tear“, and a source of my inspiration for that Fairy Tale.  Should you wish, you may read another of her beautiful poems here.

I hope to bring you more of her work in the future.
